Duncan to All - Oh Dear!!! I seem to be falling badly down the rankings. What to do?
I did manage
a Box Hill on Saturday but I got out late because of an argument with my
12 year old and had to be back on time as we were going to Cirque Soleil Kooza
at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday afternoon. What those guys can do on bikes
(across tightropes) and with unicycles (like dancing on ice) was amazing. Also
there was a fantastic act with a couple of spinning cylinders and some
acrobats. Two and a half hours (including interval) and Well worth the time and
money.
Sunday the
weather was appalling, I had a list of jobs, and I also went to the cinema with
The Wife whilst the 12 year old sulked at home on his own. I did , however,
manage 30 Km on the turbo in the garage last night.
Roll on the
summer
Results courtesy of David C: Another big effort from Jon sees him take the stage. That’s 161 miles and >10,000ft of climbing in his last 2 rides.
Mike in
the polka dots again this week, guess he has been out in the Surrey Hills.
Steve maintains his lead in the overall classification.
Good to
see everyone getting out this week, in spite of the weather. I like to think
this challenge is inspiring you… either that or its making you feel guilty
sitting in front of the telly. Either way you are all “getting the miles in”
and I’m sure you’ll thank me come the summer when you’ll all be flying.
