Guildford Peloton Rides Again

Well, it has been some time since I posted last, but now I am back.  Last year I anly did one race, the Ronde Picardie, the 82 mile course.  This year I have a new job and this year I have been back on the bike thanks to some assistance from the Guildford Peloton.

We have a new motivator.  One of our youngsters (ahem, well younger than many of us and newer to the club) has put together a challenge for the first quarter.  He and some others are doing the Etape and were looking for motivation and David came up with the idea of a weekly challenge.  We all log our miles on Strava.com and each Sunday night David collects the weeks rides and produces two charts, one for the week and one accumulating the rides so far.  Each week there is a Yellow Jersey winner for the most miles and a Polka Dot Jersey for the most climb.  It has certainly motivated people.
